Restorative/Pranayama Class as part of the Weekend Mini Immersion - Learn about the fourth limb of the 8 limbs of yoga. Pranayama is the art of intentionally controlling the breath to regulate the flow of prana through the body. Prana can be translated as life-force or breath and the practice of pranayama can both energise and relax the body and mind. The controlled breathing enables both the rhythm of asana (yoga postures) and relaxing the mind for dhyana (meditation).
